I recently bought a Nokia E63, previously I was a Sony-Ericsson handset owner.
The SEs have a great in-built feature where they can be used as a remote control for PCs over bluetooth using standard bluetooth HID profile => no installing of additional drivers or software on the PC, and works with nearly any PC.

BUT it seems that Nokia have some great hangup about implementing the bluetooth HID profile on their handsets. A nokia official on nokia developer forums suggested that this was due to patent/copyright reasons? This seems odd as the bluetooth HID profile's copyright is jointly held by nokia!
Anyhow, I digress, I've set this blog up to document my work in writing an S60 bluetooth HID-based controller for my nokia e63. I will most likely set up a googlecode site also, but this is here to document my thoughts on the project.
